FIELD: gas drying. SUBSTANCE: drying is carried out by absorption of moisture from gases using liquid absorber at temperature lower than liquid absorbent boiling temperature. Used as liquid absorbents are water solution of salts of alkali and/or alkali-earth metals. Moisture is absorbed at temperatures at which partial pressure of water vapors above liquid absorbent surface does not exceed partial pressure of water vapors in gases under drying. Regeneration of absorbent is done by evaporation of moisture at absorbent boiling temperature. The aim has been attained owing to evaporation of moisture from liquid absorbent by placing the latter in contact with other gas flow in which partial pressure of water vapors is lower than that in liquid absorbent, generation in absorbent the active components for decontamination of harmful admixtures in gases under drying and owing to the fact than part of liquid absorber flow is subjected to regeneration. EFFECT: increased economy, enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl
