FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: crystallizer has supporting plates and working walls attached to supporting plates through pins arranged along perimeter of supporting plates. Walls are provided with transverse slots and longitudinal slots arranged between transverse slots. Crystallizer is further provided with supplying and discharge pipes. Longitudinal slots extending across wall width may be made T-shaped or U-shaped. Pins are arranged along wall perimeter on spacings between slots. Longitudinal slots are made alternatively U-shaped and T-shaped, alternatively U-shaped and L-shaped or alternatively T-shaped and L-shaped. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 4 cl, 6 dwg
