FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: to prepare well-killing solution from mineralized formation water with specified density, two-step evaporation is employed: evaporation of original water to 75-85% followed by mixing brine obtained with fresh water at ratio (0.5- 1.5):(0.5-1.5) and second evaporation to produce brine with desired density, preferably 1.2 g/cu. cm. EFFECT: improved preparation procedure.
