FIELD: laser technologies for treating solid materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forming images inside transparent objects with various color effects and enables formation of three-dimensional internal color images. To that end, laser emission is focused in a specified point of transparent sample which is then irradiated with power density exceeding threshold value for volume breakdown of material. As transparent sample, porous glass is utilized into which at least one substance is introduced irreversibly changing its physico-chemical properties inside transparent sample caused by optical breakdown effect. EFFECT: facilitated three- dimensional image formation. 5 cl
