FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this can be used in drilling bore-holes and opening of productive beds. Device has receivers of pressure signals installed at well head, amplifiers for in-pipe and annular space lines, filters of in-pipe and annular space lines, threshold components, measurement control digital unit, time counter, unit for storing value of total time of spreading pressure pulses from well head to bottom hole and from bottom hole to well head (t_i), unit for calculation of difference in total time of spreading pulse pressures in controlled drilling mud and total time of spreading pressure pulses in primary drilling mud (Δt), unit for converting value Δt into voltage, unit of visual and audible signalling, indication unit Δt, recorder. In course of drilling, control is undertaken of gas inflow into well. Gas inflow into well is indicated by difference between t_f and t_i and Δt=t_f-t_i, that is Δt. Information about gas shows spreads at sound velocity and is recorded by ground surface receiving apparatus after several seconds. Value Δt > 0 is found at indication unit and recorded on diagram tape of recorder. At value Δt additionally switched on is visual signalling which attracts attention of operator by gas show in well. When Δt_cr reaches certain critical value, audible signalling is switched on. Visual signalling in this case continues operating. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
