FIELD: medicine, in particular, pharmacology; may be used as ointment when treating thrombophlebitis, predominantly superficial case of lower extremities and thrombosis of hemorrhoidal veins. SUBSTANCE: ointment has the following composition: heparin (with activity 120 units/1 mg), anesthesia, benzyl nicotinate, glycerol and base. The latter contains emulsifier No.1, preservatives, namely: para-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl ether and para-hydroxybenzoic acid propyl ether, stearin, Vaseline, glycerol, fatty acid ester, or olive oil, or maize oil, or sunflower oil, or isopropyl palmitate taken in determined weight ratio.
