FIELD: printing industry. SUBSTANCE: metallographic machine has main plate, outer cylinder with at least one printing form, printing cylinder and inking system. The latter has ducting roll with resilient surface cooperating with printing forms, at least four color dividing cylinders arranged in the vicinity of one another on part of circle defined by ducting roll and having relief corresponding to zones inked or printed with inks of different colors and coming into contact with peripheral surface of ducting roll, and inker connected with each of color dividing cylinders and mounted on self-propelled ink carriage. Ratio of diameters of ducting roll and outer cylinder is 2:3. Outer color dividing cylinders are arranged substantially diametrically on the circle of ducting roll, and side walls of ink carriage are arranged at the side adjacent to color dividing cylinders. Each of side walls of ink carriage is provided with slot sized to completely accommodate color dividing cylinders positioned between outer color dividing cylinders, when ink carriage is in operating position. Said machine is mainly used for printing securities, in particular, for printing banknotes. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 5 cl, 1 dwg
