FIELD: industrial organic syntheses. SUBSTANCE: o-nitroanizole is electrochemically reduced in membrane electrolyzer at temperature not below 85 C and current density 3-5 A/sq.dm. Process is carried out in aqueous emulsion. Reaction mass is then extracted by polychlorobenzenes - chlorobenzene production waste containing at least 90% of dichlorobenzene isomers. Extracted o-hydroanisole is treated by 35% sulfuric acid to be rearranged into o-di anisidine sulfate. EFFECT: reduced operational cost due to utilizing production waste.
