FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to ventilation screen for ventilating roof sloping side or roof ridge with at least one section which takes configuration of profiled roofing panels and is stretchable in longitudinal direction of ventilation screen, and one basically hard section which is principally parallel to aforesaid section in longitudinal direction of ventilation screen. Stretchable section has longitudinal holes and/or splines arranged in longitudinal direction of ventilation screen and located in rows which are displaced relative to each other. Longitudinal holes and/or splines of one row are separated from each other by at least one longitudinal partition lying in longitudinal direction of ventilation screen. Ventilation screen for roof sloping side can have holes for draining. Ventilation screen for roof ridge can have one stretchable section at each side of hard section. Stretchable section can be zigzag-folded with bending lines lying in longitudinal direction. Stretchable section can be provided with coating made of material which is stretchable in longitudinal and lateral directions and permeable for air and/or of water-repelling material.
