OIL RECEIVER OF HYDRAULIC TURBINE WITH ROTATING BLADES Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: hydraulic turbines with rotating blades. SUBSTANCE: oil receiver includes housing 6 with cavities 2 and 3 through which rod 1 passes; rod is mounted in housing for rotary and reciprocating motion. Rod 1 is provided with isolated cavities 7 and 8 which are brought in communication with cavities 2 and 3. Rod 1 is part of oil line for supply of oil to and discharge of it from servomotor of turbine wheel. Rod 1 is mounted in sliding bearings made in form of bushes 4 and 5 rigidly secured in housing 6; fitted between cavities 2 and 3 is sealing bush 9. Sealing bush 9 is fitted relative to housing 6 at axial clearance "c" and radial clearance "d" which exceed permissible clearance in bearings 4 and 5 in order to estimate effect of wear of sliding bearings on rate of leakage from cavities 2 and 3 through sealing members due to removal of radial loads on this member. Radial clearance between bush 9 and housing 6 is sealed with flexible seal 13. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 cl, 1 dwg
