FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: electrolytic moisture-sensitive element presents strip of fabric with sizes 0.1x5x15 mm with two holes at ends for attachment to plate from nonhydroscopic and electric insulation material so that fabric is placed in aerodynamic shadow with regard to gas flow to diminish velocity of flow in close vicinity to strip of fabric. Canvas from synthetic polypropylene fibers impregnated with electrolyte is employed as fabric. Such fabric with carbon fibers inserted into its structure may be used in electrolytic moisture-sensitive elements of threshold (emergency) warning devices.
