FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device and method to manufacture moisture-sensitive elements and a moisture sensor comprising such moisture-sensitive elements. The method to manufacture moisture-sensitive elements consists in the fact that first they perform continuous drawing of a flexible dielectric film with evenly applied layer of gelatine. Then the above film is submerged into an impregnation solution to impregnate the gelatine layer, besides, the impregnation solution is a mixture of lithium chloride solution and potassium bichromate solution. Further they dry the specified film with the impregnated gelatine layer. Then they tan the gelatine layer and cut the specified film into separate film elements. At the same time the following conditions are maintained during manufacturing: speed of film drawing is (10±0.5) mm/min, temperature of impregnating solution is (15±3)°C, depth of film submersion into the impregnating solution is (1.53±0.2) mm, air temperature during impregnation, tanning and cutting is (20±2)°C, relative air moisture during impregnation, tanning and cutting is (60±7)%. Also a device is disclosed to perform the above method, and a moisture sensor comprising moisture-sensitive elements made by the above method.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of detection of air and gas moisture in closed spaces.
