FIELD: radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: method is intended for use in surveillance radars and in radars mapping surface of the Earth. Another potential field of application of the method is synchronous communication with use of complex signals. Individual discrete having proper frequency modulation forming complex phase-shift keyed signal that is comprised in corresponding matched filter are formed, emitted, received, compressed in matched filters and coherently summed up with system of other signals having heterpolar side lobes at equal distances from main peak. EFFECT: removal of requirement for sameness of initial phases of system of phase-shift keyed signals when they are processed and simultaneous increase of range resolving power. 9 dwg
