FIELD: wide-band communication systems, radiolocation, radio intelligence. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to high- precision meter of speed of re-tuning of frequency-modulated signals and/or laws of change of frequency of radio signals. Acoustooptical meter of speed of re-tuning of FM signals incorporates laser, collimator, first acoustooptical deflector with value of dark aperture equal to l1, integration lens, strip of photodetectors with parallel collection of information placed in sequence in path of light. Outputs of strip of photodetectors are connected to solving unit via set of video preamplifiers and set of threshold devices. System of image transfer and second acoustooptical deflector with value of dark aperture equal to l2, are placed between first acoustooptical deflector and integration lens. Both acoustooptical deflectors are spatially displaced one relative another by distance ΔX = (l1-l2) and are mounted for obtainment of diffraction in them correspondingly of plus/minus of first order or minus/plus of first order.
