SUBSTANCE: device has associative cells 1 each of which has input information analysis unit 2, memory unit 3, first and second associative comparison circuits 4 and 5, first and second buffer units 6 and 7, first and second commutators 8 and 9, first to fourth signal repeaters 10-13. In addition device has address line 14, writing bus 15, column selection line 16, comparison mode setting line 17, comparison mode setting bus 18, column request line 19, row request line 20, associative search result lines 21, 22, 23, 24 respectively for direction of primary diagonal, rows, columns, and direction of secondary diagonal of matrix. EFFECT: increased efficiency of resemblance detection for search arguments and stored information as well as for search arguments themselves which are represented in directed and mirrored form in case of their arbitrary shift. 2 dwg
