FIELD: signal transmission in optical wave range; optical-radiation heterodyne receivers. SUBSTANCE: device has optical antenna, beam splitter, diaphragm, light conductor, piezoelectric transducer, and heterodyne laser. The latter is installed in second optical circuit of beam splitter. Light conductor is placed after diaphragm. Its surface carries piezoelectric transducer. Output of the latter functions as device output. During optical heterodyne detection of signals, use is made of method for electrostrictive excitation of elastic waves in the field of two optical beams. EFFECT: maintenance of almost limiting sensitivity in case of reduced frequency stability of beams of received signal and heterodyne laser. 5 cl, 2 dwg
