FIELD: methods and devices for cleaning of effluent gases containing hydrogen chloride and sulfur dioxide. SUBSTANCE: method consists in that gas flow is treated in device 5 for gas scrubbing. Then, lime 9 is added to gas flow which is passed through filter 13. Method and device are distinguished by the fact that one portion of gas flow is passed-by the device 5 for gas scrubbing through pipeline 15 and is combined with the remaining gas flow before filter 13. Thus hydrogen chloride from passed-by flow reacts with supplied line to form calcium chloride which stimulates separation of sulfur dioxide with introduction of lime.
