Abstract RU 2108252 C1

FIELD: railway transport; signalling and communication. SUBSTANCE: one combined radio line is used to provide communication between dispatcher and locomotive driver and to determine parameters of train movement directly at dispatcher's station. Interrogation video pulse navigational signal used to modulate high frequency oscillations is delivered to dispatcher's transmitter in pauses between messages. Modulated signals are received and demodulated by locomotive receiver. Obtained video signal is delivered into locomotive transmitter to modulate high frequency oscillations of locomotive transmitter. Modulated signals are received and demodulated by dispatcher's receiver and delay of answering video pulse navigational signal relative to interrogation signal is recorded. Basing on delay in proportional relationship, distance of locomotive from dispatcher's station is determined, this distance being coordinate of locomotive on railway mainline. By differentiating the coordinate, train speed is determined. Video generator is connected by one of its outputs to input of transmitter at dispatcher's station. Other output of video generator is connected to first input of locomotive distance and speed meter. Second input of meter is connected with output of receiver through video amplifier.
