FIELD: mechanical engineering; packing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to packing material 1 provided with ready made drain hole 5 and opening device 4 and it gives description of method of its making. Sheet of packing material 1 has middle layer-base 3 in which drain hole 5 is made or indication mark of hole. Hole 5 or hole indication mark is covered by thin thermoplastic strip 7. Then other layers 8,9,10 and 12 are applied to base layer. Such multiple- layer structure provides complete covering of strip 7 by outer layer 12. With strip 7 torn off, hole 5 is opened. Simultaneously with strip 7 layers 8,9,10 and 12 connected with strip are also torn off. EFFECT: improved quality of packing and convenience in use. 12 cl, 4 dwg
