FIELD: mechanical engineering; automatic control of speed; diesel engine speed governors. SUBSTANCE: speed governor of internal combustion engine has differential reduction gear whose output link is coupled with engine shaft and electric generator whose rotor is coupled with first output link of reduction gear. Second output link of reduction gear is coupled with engine control rack. Control unit has frequency analyzer, voltage shaper and generator voltage regulator. Spring is installed in mechanical tie between control rack and second output link of reduction gear and is mechanically coupled with housing for transmitting the force to decrease fuel delivery. Generator power winding is coupled with frequency analyzer, generator field winding is connected with voltage shaper, and voltage regulator output is connected with voltage shaper. Voltage regulator setting input is coupled with frequency analyzer. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 1 dwg
