SUBSTANCE: electric convector has body of box-shaped form with inlet and outlet holes, support 1 of electric insulation material coupled to supports of heating elements 3 with electric insulation backing coated on one side with resistive material. Heating elements 3 ha ratio of height H to width B satisfying inequality 1.8 < H/B <2.3, ratio of spacing t of heating elements to width B meeting inequality 1/4 < t/B < 1/6 and are installed with relative spacing t/H determined by inequality 1/11 < t/H < 1/7. Upper and lower walls of body 2 are manufactured in the form of panels arranged in parallel one another. Each panel has holes in the form of three-row isometric slits with relation of distance lr between two rows to diameter d of slit amounting to lr=0.8-1.4, relation of length 1 of slit to diameter d amounting to 1/d=6.0-8.0 and relation of interaxis distance x of two adjacent slits to diameter d of slit amounting to x/d=1.9-2.6.
