FIELD: electric heating engineering, in particular, electric convectors, designed for air heating in dwelling houses and creation of heat comfort in cold season. SUBSTANCE: the electric convector comprises a box-like housing with inlets and outlets, supports, vertical members parallel arranged inside the housing and representing each separately a compensator carrying an electric insulating backing and a flat heater, and a current leading device. Staggered on the inner surfaces of the compensators above their lower end faces at distance h, lesser spacing t of the compensators, one flat heater; the side faces of the middle compensator in the upper and lower sections are secured in slots made in the lugs of the lateral posts; thickness δ of the compensator is less than width b1 of the slot furnished with a thermocompensator, and width Δ of the clearance formed between the outer surface of the compensators and the inner wall of the housing exceeds thickness δ of the compensator. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, efficiency and ecology of electric convector operation. 2 dwg
