FIELD: mining industry; drilling machinery and equipment. SUBSTANCE: stand is used for testing wedgeless sliding whipstocks. Simulation is effected with application of components of actual whipstock itself in stand. Stand has model of bore-hole in the form of tubular component, model of drilling string, units for creation of torque force and axial thrust, model of bore-hole cutting face in the form of body and containing rod with thrust bearing component, contact unit, sensors of side forces. Model of drilling string is made in the form of whipstock shaft with fastening unit. Model of bore-hole is made in the form of whipstock body with opening for extending slip of fastening unit and two sensors of side forces with one of them secured against body opening, and other secured against lower section of whipstock shaft at side of its turning. Cutting face model is made with rod. One end of rod is spline-connected by adapter with lower section of whipstock shaft, other end of rod is introduced into body space and carries contact unit in the form of ball bearings in open cage which are pressed against end wall of body. Dimensions of splined connection components, rod, body space on rod, and cage are selected so as to ensure running of ball bearings over body wall in compliance with turning of lower section of whipstock shaft. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 dwg
