FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to drilling horizontal and steeply inclined bore-holes. According to method, lower end of drilling string is provided with special pipe connection having locking ring, and drilling string is lowered down to upper boundary of investigation interval. Geophysical instrument is secured on lower end of column which is made up of tubular components and is lowered by reophysical cable inside drilling string. Attached to upper tube of column which is lowered down by cable is stopping ring of outer diameter which is larger than inner diameter of aforesaid locking ring. This allows for catching column of tubular components and reliably remove instrument from horizontal section of bore-hole in case of jamming. Application of device improves reliability and fail-safe operation in delivering geophysical instruments into horizontal bore of well at carrying out geophysical investigations.
