FIELD: materials storage and handling. SUBSTANCE: loose material hopper shutoff has cylindrical housing with charging cylinder and valve. Valve engages with movable drive cylinder enclosing the charging cylinder. Housing communicates with suction branch pipe of fan and is provided with discharge louver cone in its lower part. Tachometric flowmeter pickup is installed in charging cylinder and is electrically coupled through loose material amount setting device with movable cylinder drive. Pickup includes impeller rotation axle installed vertically in bearing housing. Seal of axle consists of liquid-filled space into which skirt is dipped. Upper part of shirt is combined with base of impeller from its inner side. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities of shutoff, provision of putting out metered doses of material of required volume. 2 cl, 2 dwg
