FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: material is designed for hydraulically insulating building structures and objective of invention is to increase hydrophobic effect in it, reduce water permeability and specific expenses. To this end, material consisting of hydrophobic agent and mineral filler contains, as the former (0.5-1.5 wt %), sewage from gelatin production sewage disposal plant and, as the latter (98.5-99.5 wt %), mixture of quartz sand and fine mineral powder at ratio 1:(0.05-0.5). Hydrophobic effect of material is thereby increased by 35-50%, water permeability lowered by an order of magnitude, and expenses reduced nearly twice.
