FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, ship-building; may be used in painting of steel parts with aqueous solution of enamel by deposition method. SUBSTANCE: painting is effected in enamel aqueous solution under action of direct current under the following conditions. First, parts are subjected to ultrasonic treatment within the frequency from 100 to 600 kHz for 12-15 min, then to treatment with ultrasonic frequency equalling natural frequency of part material. Enamel is applied from solution with voltage of 30-100 V, current density of 0.2-0.5 A/sq.dm and temperature of 20-25 C. In this case, bath body serves as cathode, and enamelled part serves as anode. Parts are immersed into bath under current to depth of 100-500 mm from bath surface. Distance of parts from bath walls is not less than 100 mm. Enamel solution in bath is continuously agitated by pumping with pump installed in bath. Solution is cooled by coil pipe with cold water. After painting, parts are washed and dried, and then, subjected to heat treatment at 180 C for 30 min. EFFECT: higher strength of enamel coating and reduced power consumption of process. 4 cl, 1 dwg , 1 tbl
