FIELD: methods for deposition of corrosion-resistant coatings to metals, ceramics, plastic materials and other solid materials. SUBSTANCE: method includes plasma deposition, or gas deposition, or vapor-phase deposition. In so doing, prior to deposition ultrasonic vibrations are excited in metal and ultrasonic treatment is carried concurrently with deposition of coating. Ultrasonic vibrations are introduced by means of acoustic concentrator that provides for initiation in base metal of cavitation phenomenon promoting destruction of partitions between pores, cracks and other defects to facilitate their fuller filling with protective metals. EFFECT: improved quality of coatings and reduced power consumption. 5 cl, 2 dwg
