SUBSTANCE: method of producing insulating layer with strengthened surface on building structure implies application of components made from mineral fibre with higher content of binding material particles in surface zone, activation of binding material for formation of strengthened surface after its hardening. This is performed before, during or after formation of isolating layer. Component made from mineral fibre for application in aforesaid method is obtained by delivering particles of dry binding material to surface zone of component in gas flow.
