FIELD: gyroscopic and navigation instrumentation, specifically, topographic control of prospecting holes. SUBSTANCE: system determining parameters of prospecting holes has probe to control hole that includes module of pickups of primary information in the form of three pendulous compensation accelerometers with orthogonal sensitivity axes and three pickups of angular speed, information processing module which inputs are connected to outputs of module of primary information and three magnetometers with orthogonal sensitivity axes. Information processing module is inserted with low-pass filters, unit computing orientation parameters, unit identifying modes of movements of probes, unit computing coordinates. It may also include unit for computation of acceleration modulus , unit computing depth of submersion and calculator of increment of hole length connected in series and logic unit. Each pendulous compensation accelerometer has additionally device for change-over of ranges and second feedback amplifier. Device for change-over of ranges is controlled by output signal of unit identifying modes of movements of probe. EFFECT: improved functional characteristics and reliability. 2 cl, 6 dwg
