FIELD: navigation, geomagnetic measurements from flying vehicle. SUBSTANCE: in correspondence with invention family of separable magnetometers is mounted on nonmagnetic rod and is so positioned on object that point of location of first magnetometer on rod coincides with point of location of magnetometer of object. Longitudinal, lateral and normal components of vector of intensity of resulting magnetic field of object, angles of gyroscopic course, pitch and roll are measured. Obtained values are converted to parameters of equivalent source of magnetic interference on mobile object which are used to find values of magnetic angle of mobile object in process of movement. Technical result of employment of given technique of conducting of pre-start deviation operations consists in their implementation at any home airfield with high precision and little labor input.
