FIELD: burning of ceramic articles. SUBSTANCE: burning zone includes also heating zone and cooling zone; burning is effected as follows: articles ready for loading in kiln are fed on articles laid in kiln beforehand in form of vertical spiral. Articles are moved over this spiral trajectory downwards via heating, roasting and cooling zones. Trajectory of motion of articles is set by single-turn spiral roller table. Kiln consists of two cylindrical vertical walls located coaxially (inner wall and outer wall). Cylindrical clearance between kiln walls forms passage through which articles to be burnt are moved. This passage has heating, burning and cooling zones. The walls are made from ceramic bricks in heating and cooling zones. Refractory bricks are used in brickwork of walls in burning zone. Bricks in burning zone are heated due to burning of gas from gas burners located in outer wall in burning zone. Outlet of kiln is located in break of single-turn spiral roller table which is arranged in lower portion of kiln at cooling zone outlet; roller table is used to give support for all articles loaded in kiln and for their motion. EFFECT: high productivity; facilitated production procedure. 3 cl, 2 dwg
