FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has two spark-quenching circuits which are connected in parallel-opposing to contact. Each circuit protects contact when it is rendered off in corresponding half-wave. One claim of invention describes device design in which each spark-quenching circuit is designed as serial circuit of capacitor and diode which is connected in parallel to resistor. This results in possibility of spark-quenching immediately when contacts are being detached. Discharge current through closing circuit is decreased and arrival of false pulses through spark-quenching circuit is prevented for non-conducting contact. Another claim of invention describes device design in which resistors of spark-quenching circuits are connected in parallel to capacitors. This prevents discharge current through contact during detaching. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
