FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: effect of electrolyte temperature on equilibrium emf of storage battery is determined by measuring emf across two electrodes additionally immersed in electrolyte. In addition, temperature sensor is placed in electrolyte and temperature of the latter is measured; depending on measurement results, equilibrium emf is corrected. EFFECT: improved accuracy and reduced time for measurements. 1 dwg
