FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out infrared thermography to measure skin temperature in paravertebral area on the left side at the level of D9-L2 and on the left leg. Left femur, shin or foot skin temperature being lower and that of paravertebral segment under investigation being higher than the reference values, disturbed spinal blood circulation of lumbar enlargement of the spinal cord is diagnosed . EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of diagnosis; non-invasive examination.
