FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiovascular surgery. According to computer tomoangiography of the aorta at the preoperative stage, the intercostal or lumbar artery is determined, which is involved in the blood supply of the spinal cord, and during the operation is visualized at the appropriate aortic level. Further, after the application of the proximal and distal anastomoses of the prosthesis from the aorta, the interstices of the intercostal and lumbar arteries are revised and the level of the desired segmental artery is determined from the bony landmarks. To restore blood flow in the artery, a fragment of the dacron explant with a diameter of 8–12 mm is used. Anastomosis is applied between the dacron extender and the aorta around the mouths of segmental arteries. Then anastomosis of the main prosthesis is squeezed and the above-mentioned Dacron extension is implanted into the aorta.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of spinal and hemorrhagic complications in the postoperative period, to improve the immediate results of operations.
