FIELD: production of welded joints with the help of induction heating of blanks to be joined with high-frequency currents. SUBSTANCE: blanks to be welded are placed to zone of action of magnetic induction coil. Blanks are restrained on the side opposite to magnetic induction coil by rigid support of insulating material. Magnetic induction coil is energized with high-frequency current from magnetic-pulse generator. Blanks to be welded are pressed to each other and to rigid support by forces of interaction of magnetic fields of induction coil and self-induction current induced in blanks and heating them in points of welding. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
