FIELD: transport systems. SUBSTANCE: device has two magnetizing units arranged inside track between rails. Two pairs of magnetically sensitive track pickups are placed coaxially between magnetizing units. First pickups of each pair are located near one rail inside track and second ones, outside the track near other rail. All pickups are arranged at equal distance from rails close to wheels of wheelsets and all pairs are installed relative to each other for simultaneous interaction with wheels of wheelsets. Output of track pickups are connected to inputs of computer. EFFECT: possibility of tracking up residual magnetization of wheels of any polarity to control operation of vehicles. 2 cl, 2 dwg
