FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: reused are iron-containing both high- concentration etching and low-concentration wash and waste waters. Exhausted acidic iron-containing solutions are treated by metalworking wastes. To thus neutralized solution, precipitation agent is added Ц phosphate ion-containing compound at pH 6.0-8.0 at stoichiometric ratio of phosphate ions to cations of metal to be precipitated. Precipitate is separated and filtrate returned into production process. Precipitates can be utilized in preparing pigment pasts. EFFECT: increased degree of iron removal. 4 cl
