FIELD: measurement technology, measurement of weight of various materials and objects at home. SUBSTANCE: proposed balance allows weight with upper and lower positioning of load to be measured when it is used as table, wall or hand versions. Balance has separable base 1 with central hole, bearing frame 3 carrying locating member 5 contacting central hole of base 1, boss 6 with rectangular groove 7 and protrusion 8 having hole 9 intended for setting of ring. Mobile part of balance is manufactured in the form of housing 13 having boss 15 with rectangular groove 16, protrusion 17 with hole 18 meant for installation of hook, blind hole 19 housing pointer indicator 24 and revolving scale 36 and location member 20 carrying cup 21. Spring is fabricated in the form of ring which is hinged in rectangular grooves 7 and 16 of bearing frame 3 and mobile housing 13. Strap is mounted on gear member for turn about its axis. Strap has side column having rectangular groove that contacts side walls of ring bore of screw put into threaded hole of gear member. Free end of strap is hinged through hole to tie-rod of pointer mechanism. Housing 13 of mobile part is anchored with the aid of axles 14 in front ends of levers 10 and 11, rear ends of them are put with the use of axles 12 in walls 4 of bearing frame 3. Revolving scale 36 and glass 37 are installed between bottom of blind hole 19 of housing 13 and limiting ring 35. EFFECT: expanded possibilities of calibration of scale, change of weight-carrying capacity of balance with unchanged rigidity of ring spring. 6 dwg
