FIELD: transmissions for transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: shaft includes central part 1 (pipe) made from composite material, connecting part and holder 6. Connecting part 2 is made in form of bush with longitudinal slots 3, circular bore 4 and circular projection 5. Holder 6 has circular slots 7, longitudinal slots 8 and projection 9. Arranged in between inner surface of pipe 1 and outer surface of bush 2 are wedge-type inserts 10 with end projection 11, circular projections 12 and longitudinal projections 13. Wedge-type inserts 10 are received by longitudinal slots 3 of bush 2 for axial displacement. Thrust ring 14 is located between side wall of circular bore of bush 2 and end of projection 9 of holder 6. EFFECT: increased loading capacity of shaft due to reliable solid joint of central part bush with end fittings ensuring smooth distribution of forces in joint in transmitting the torques and bending moments, as well as axial forces arising during operation of shaft. 5 dwg
