FIELD: rolling equipment, namely, structures of rolling stands. SUBSTANCE: rolling stand includes lower rolling roll with chocks provided with runners for changing rolls supported by lifting guide rails. Novelty is hydraulic cylinders for lifting guide rails. Cylinders are mounted in chocks of lower backup roll. Limit stops are secured to stand housing for detecting lifting level of guide rails. In order to correct position of guide rails and to eliminate possible jamming of runners there are prisms mounted on stops in such a way that their ribs are turned towards guide rail flange having reciprocal bihedral groove. Opening angle of groove is slightly more than bihedral angle of prisms. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of roll changing process. 1 dwg
