FIELD: rolled stock production, particularly construction of chocks of working rolls of non-reversing stands of four-high mills for cold and hot rolling. SUBSTANCE: bearing assembly of rolling roll of rolling stand includes roll chocks with vertical guides having lateral faces parallel to roll axis and mounted in windows of stand housing; system for axial fixation of chocks of rolling roll arranged at side of stand opposite relative to drive unit. In order to lower axial efforts acting upon rolling rolls at self-aligning rolling rolls according to backup rolls in horizontal plane due to rotation of rolling rolls by means of axial effort, flexible members are arranged between outer bearing surface of lugs of rolling roll chocks and axial fixing members of stand housing and also between inner bearing surface of the same lugs and stand housing at side of guiding metal to stand. Invention provides reduction of axial effort by 95%. EFFECT: improved design of bearing assembly. 2 dwg
