FIELD: working elongated tubular products in different industry branches, namely, with working station arranged along product for multiple working with use of different apparatuses, for example in boiler construction for making heat-exchange heating surfaces of finned tube lengths. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of setting for each working apparatus its own path for moving product; setting equal length for all paths and identical separation of paths by portions whose length values are no more than length of the shortest linear coordinate indicating position of working station. Product is successively moved from one path to another without changing its orientation relative to motion direction. Received for one path increments of each linear coordinate and path portions after which increments are calculated are also used for forming orders controlling product working process along the remaining paths.
