FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to extracting one or several metals from a mineral raw material. The latter is loaded into leaching apparatus to be brought in contact with electrolyte. Apparatus has zone with decreasing oxidation potential. Electrolyte stream is withdrawn from the zone and is treated to remove impurities and undesired metals in treatment apparatus before electrolytically extracting metals. After electrolysis process, electrolyte is returned into leaching apparatus. A second electrolyte stream can be withdrawn from the zone to extract additional metals. Impurities and any undesired metals are removed in treatment apparatus using electrolysis technique. Leaching process makes it possible to leach difficultly leachable metals including gold.
