FIELD: mining and construction; applicable in mining of block stone, its passivation, fragmentation of oversize lumps, etc. SUBSTANCE: method is based on development of breaking thrust forces along the entire length of blast holes located in plane of required separation of block from rock massif. EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation and quality of separated blocks due to development of thrust forces onto blast hole walls over their entire length by thrusting devices distinguished by simple design, low labor intensity in manufacture and low cost (one of thrusting device members is used in form of balls from ball bearings with expired service life). 1 dwg
