FIELD: SHF equipment, design of frequency-selective devices (filters) and correctors of amplitude-frequency characteristics. SUBSTANCE: SHF filter has duel-mode resonator built on round section waveguide, two coupling elements in the form of oval holes joined correspondingly to connection lines made in the form of two rectangular waveguides and two elements regulating resonance frequencies of two types of oscillations fabricated in the form of screws. Coupling elements are arranged at angle of about 90 deg with reference to one another and at angle of approximately 45 deg relative to adjustment screws. Adjustment elements of resonance sections are also placed at angle of about 90 deg with regard to one another. Resonators of SHF filters are tuned to different resonance frequencies. Proposed SHF filter has high linearity of phase-frequency characteristic ( low level of irregularity of group lagging time ) and low induced losses within bandwidth as compared with resonators with same gain slope and same bandwidth connected in stages. Dimensions of proposed SHF filter are 2 times smaller that those of analogous three-resonator frequency characteristic filter.
