FIELD: separating and multiplexing signals in broad frequency band. SUBSTANCE: multiplexer has high-frequency input connector mounted on one of butt-end walls of its case or in middle part of one of side walls and connected to input transformer installed in section of below-cutoff input waveguide. Coaxially arranged on first and second sides of case are rows of below-cutoff waveguides forming two layers; below-cutoff waveguides provided on first side of case are interconnected by means of section of below-cutoff input waveguide located at high- frequency input connector. Some of resonators of passband filters are mounted in below-cutoff waveguides on first side of case and remaining ones, in below-cutoff waveguides on second side of case; axes of opposing resonators are aligned. Common wall of case between below-cutoff waveguides of first and second layers has holes receiving components and links between middle adjacent and not adjacent resonators of passband filters, respectively. Each passband filter is provided with adjusting member and high-frequency output connector. Coupling members are of different design versions depending on desired characteristics of multiplexer. Multiplexer ensures elliptical frequency response characteristics at two to six frequency channels being separated. EFFECT: reduced size and mass of multiplexer. 8 cl, 13 dwg
