FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for warning of miners in underground workings of emergencies, for calling individual subscriber to telephone by conventional light signals, for transmission of additional digital information of technological character displayed on screen of liquid-crystal indicator and for connection to system controlling production objects. Proposed device includes transmitting and receiving sets. Transmitting set incorporates unit forming and sending emergency signal, transmitter and transmitting antenna with grounding rods connected to it. Each receiving set has antenna connected to selective amplifier which output is linked to frequency mixers connected in parallel loaded to heterodyne. Outputs of mixers are connected through low-pass filters and threshold elements to two inputs of phase detector which output is linked to input of decoder. Staring information subject to transmission is coded on transmitting side by coding combination in agreement with proper binary sequence. Carrier frequency of signal emitted by transmitter from day surface of ground into mine is modulated then. Signal received in mine is demodulated and processed by decoder and is sent into output converter. EFFECT: enhanced functional efficiency and reliability of device. 1 dwg
