FIELD: data transmission and radar systems. SUBSTANCE: method involves estimation of frequency and occupied frequency band of narrow-band noise as well as matched filtration of signal followed by threshold decision on whether it is present or absent according to chosen criterion, determination of time τo when reference reading was taken in which noise Uh(τo) is measured, and its correlation constant r(τo) between reference and information readings is calculated; calculation results are used to calculate taken decision threshold at known amplitude Vm of matched filter output signal from formula Th(τo) = r(τo)Uh(τo)+Vm/2, which is set in threshold detection device. EFFECT: improved noise immunity in detecting pulsed radio signals on narrow-band noise background. 1 dwg
